The figures in this series are combined with monotypes of human skin to draw attention to the relationship between the viewer's perceived understanding of the body and the actual topography of the body. These different styles of "maps" invite inquiry into the processes used and draw attention to the multiple layers of meaning inherent in every (re)presentation of the human being.
